Various Music/VST notes..

My friend Kasper released his VST instrument "KarmaFX Synth" 1.00
Nice job! He has been coding this monster for years, and I have been a fortunate soul to play along from teh beginning: http://karmafx.net

Further on the VST scene, I have cought myself using Erratic for making drum loops.. Its really fantastic; a stepsequencer with a trigger (with velocity), and the great Propability stepfactor..
"erratic is a drum sample player with some added 'randomising' features to give variation on every cycle." - so true. http://www.delamancha.co.uk/erratic.htm

My alternative or second choice for Drums would stil be GURU, which has some awsome tools for loop based drum programing. http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=4

Rediscovering Sci-Fi..
I was making a music track in Samplitude, and kinda wanted to put in some moody voice sample - if nothing else then temporary just to keep the mojo running.
Anyways, I googled for " podcast scary stories " and ended up finding some nice Podcast sites with some Sci-Fi stories:

sffaudio.com / crescentstation

Still waiting for Peter F. Hamilton to release next part of "The Void Trilogy" :)

The short London visit

Did spend a few days in London.

We had a way too little time to see all the things there are "must see" in London. Being somewhat unprepared/impatient for the long queues for the typical "attractions", we skipped the likes of Tower of London & The Eye. (they will have to wait till another time) - Well we did get some shopping done :) .

We stayed at an area best described as little India, (Brick Lane/Osborne Street which had some nice oppertunities for Curry meals. Apparently all of these resturrants offer the same " pls enter and get free beer " - If you stick to Beer, you can exploit this to get ALL your beer free (well we did get the invitation beer and a large Cobra free).
As our main Subway were being maintained during the weekend, we had to walk, walk and walk alot, guess I should lern to use the buss as well.
The visit to the New Zealand Expo was quite informative. And When Im going to NZ as some point in 2008 Ill defenatly check up on a few things.

Yea we all do it I suppose.. watch TV.

Recently I fell for these 2 series, Heroes (heroes.torrent) and Dexter (dexter.torrent).

And like any good book, I refuse to lay it down for a week before I read next chapter - same thing with a good TV-series, When I start I finish it as soon as possible.
Good thing we have the internet - The HDTV episodes downloadable various places are even better than what our nations CableTV delivers :)
